Hardware

Headless Power-Up

To power up the Micom without a control head attached, you need to connect pin 14 (CTRL_ON_OFF) to ground (pin 7 or 13) on the front control head connector. You can use a standard 0.1" shorting jumper to connect 13 & 14 for a clean automatic power up.

Rear Accessory Connector

Serial communications with a PC use the TXA/RXA pins on the rear 44-pin connector, not TXD/RXD like you'd expect. RXA is pin 15 and TXA is pin 16.
